I graduated in 2008 with a BSc in Sports Therapy from Scotland, UK.  

 

What is a sports therapist? Sports therapists specialise in sports massage and soft tissue therapy. Also designing programs for rehabilitation and injury prevention.  

 

Loving the hands-on aspect of Sports Therapy I went on to do further training in advanced massage techniques in soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and myofascial therapy.

Experience working for professional sports teams, working for Glasgow council, treating from CrossFit gyms and fitness health centres.   I went back to Dundee to start my own clinic over 3 years.  Working with Professional footballer,  triathlete, ice hockey players, runners, kickboxers and many weekend warriors.  I had a variation of patients with ongoing injuries, chronic pain, postural imbalance, muscular dysfunction and stress relief.

For the last 7 years of being in Auckland, I have been working in a Physiotherapist clinic and achieving great results working alongside the physiotherapist treatments. 

​

I trained to be a Yin Yoga instructor after discovering the wonderful benefits of yin yoga, I learnt from Mark Giess and Kairn Michelle Sang.

In May 2018 I started my clinic within Queen Street Physiotherapy. Working alongside Paul Wilson and Physiotherapy Team. In April 2019 I was treating Emirates Team NZ for three years up to America's Cup in 2021.  

​

I moved to sunny Mangawhai with my partner and our one-year-old son in November 2022.  It's a beautiful place to be and has a great community to work in and we are very lucky to have many skilled therapists, trainers in the area.  

​

I am always looking to expand my knowledge with continuing courses on my ever-growing wish list!
